Roni Dori is an Israeli magazine journalist and staff writer at Calcalist Magazine, Israel's largest business newspaper.
For more than two decades, she has written long-form features and conducted in-depth interviews with some of the world's most influential thinkers, scientists, entrepreneurs, policymakers and cultural figures. Her work focuses on the intersection of technology, science, economics, politics and society, often using individual stories to illuminate larger global trends.
Over the years, she has interviewed Nobel laureates, bestselling authors, technology pioneers, senior regulators, political dissidents and business leaders. Among her interviewees are Jaron Lanier, Shirin Ebadi, Margrethe Vestager, Michael Levitt, Adam Grant, Jonathan Haidt, Kara Swisher and many others.
Her reporting has appeared in Calcalist, Haaretz, BBC outlets and additional Israeli and international publications. Before joining Calcalist as a staff writer in 2021, she worked as a freelance journalist for a wide range of newspapers, magazines and digital publications.
Roni began her career at Haaretz in 2006 and later held senior marketing and communications roles in Israel's cultural sector, including at the Batsheva Dance Company, before returning to journalism full-time.
She is particularly interested in the people shaping the future - and in asking them difficult questions.
